Gunmen in the early hours of Tuesday raided Oluwalose community, Okolowo area, a suburb of Ilorin, Kwara State, abducting no fewer than two residents.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed that gunmen attacked the community on Tuesday.
He said, “There was a report that gunmen attacked a community around Oko Olowo area in the midnight of Tuesday. They kidnapped two people. “Our men were dispatched to the area immediately we received the information. As I’m speaking with you, we are making efforts to rescue the two members of the community. Our men are combing the surrounding bushes to rescue them, but we have yet to succeed.”All rights reserved.
