The Media Rights Agenda has called on President Bola Tinubu to make clear commitments for the safety of journalists in Nigeria.A Thursday statement by the group’s spokesman Idowu Adewale also urged the Nigerian leader to “bring an end to impunity for crimes against journalists by ensuring that Government officials and non-state actors who attack journalists are appropriately punished in accordance with the Law”.
