Group commends Gombe women for embracing family planning
Advocacy Working Group on Child Spacing, a non-governmental organisation working on maternal and child care in Gombe State, has commended Gombe Women for embracing family planning.
Yahya noted further that it is gratifying that in this period of COVID-19 pandemic, more women have opted for injectable as a family planning method in the state. Yahya said, “Nigeria is currently battling COVID-19, but we are glad to tell you that despite COVID-19, women are subscribing more to child spacing in the state.
“This time around to our surprise the injectable has scaled to 211, 295 for both new and follow-up subscribers on available records from the National Health Management Information System Family Planning DashBoard.”
