A group, the African Youth Initiative for Good Governance and Peace, has implored Nigerian youths to shun unhealthy eating habit and engage in adequate nutrition that aids mental acuity, enhance proper growth and development.
The convener of the group, Oyewole Michael, said the theme highlights the need for youths to be intentional about making informed decisions on the food choices through increasing global education on the healthiest and most sustainable options for both individuals and the environment.
According to her, youths are the future of any nation, adding that they form the essential kernel of any meaningful civilisation, as bringing them on board and securing their interests in agriculture would be key to the country’s development.
