Olympic champion Greg Rutherford has finally revealed the gruesome injury that forced him to drop out of the Dancing On Ice final, which he had been tipped to win
Dancing on Ice star Greg Rutherford has revealed details of his horrific injury ahead of having surgery. The sports star recently shared gruesome footage of the moment disaster hit just days before the final of this year's series of Dancing on Ice, which forced him to withdraw from the ITV competition.
He explained further: "The point where I dive through Colin and Brendyn's legs is where everything went wrong last Sunday. This is from either Friday or Saturday so I was still ironing out a few timings issues ." He told his fans: "Today is surgery day. Loads of people have been asking 'what happened?' I've been a bit busy and obviously just recovering from the initial injury before I had the surgery that I hadn't got round to talking about it.
His wife Susie could be heard joking about his penis snapping off during the accident. Greg was due to take part in the Dancing on Ice final with skate partner Vanessa James, where he would have competed against fellow contestants Ryan Thomas, Adele Roberts, and Miles Nazaire to become the 2024 champions.
