The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, has assured the management of the Nigeria Institute of Management of the state government’s collaboration in building and improving human capacity within the state’s civil service.

Hamzat gave the assurance while receiving a delegation of the institute led by its Registrar, Mrs Taiwo Olusesi, on a courtesy visit to his office at the Round House, Alausa, on Wednesday.

The Deputy Governor said, “Lagos is always open for better things and you will find in us partners when it comes to capacity building; we will support and work with you but the collaboration must be better in terms of the quality of human capacity development and sharpening of staff to achieve a better result.”

He charged the institute with providing quality training for civil servants, stressing that the state has different ministries and agencies that require different skills.
