Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed , has called on newly elected North-East Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) officials to develop effective strategies to secure the party's victory in the 2027 general elections. Speaking at the inauguration of the North-East Zonal PDP officials in Bauchi, Governor Mohammed, represented by his deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC ) has failed Nigeria ns and must be voted out.
Governor Mohammed criticized the APC's leadership, asserting that under its rule, Nigeria has experienced a significant decline in the standard of living. He argued that the APC has failed to fulfill its promises, instead creating more hardship for Nigerians. According to him, the APC government has deepened the suffering of families, leaving them to grapple with hunger and economic distress. He emphasized that the newly inaugurated PDP zonal officials have a crucial role to play in restoring hope and confidence among Nigerians, describing their efforts as essential to reclaiming the country's future from mismanagement and incompetence.Governor Mohammed urged PDP leaders to recognize the gravity of their responsibility in ensuring the party's success.
