Jesupemi AreUba Sani, governor of Kaduna state, has inaugurated a 25-bed primary health care centre and a skill acquisition centre in Tudun Biri community of Igabi LGA.

On December 3, 2023, a Nigerian Army drone on the trail of bandits, had accidentally bombed the villagers during a muslim celebration, killing over 100 people.Earlier in the year, the Kaduna state government constituted a committee headed by Hadiza Balarabe, the deputy governor, to implement and monitor mechanisms for projects in the community, following donations of millions of naira by the Northern Governors Forum, the national assembly, the Nigerian Army and other corporate bodies.

“The skills acquisition centre will equip Tudun Biri youths with the skills to be employable and to even be employers themselves,” the governor said.“The primary healthcare centre will cater to the health needs of the people and enhance their productivity. Sani added that the Kaduna state government is constructing houses in the community to resettle those whose homes were destroyed in the bombing incident.Advertisement
