Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara State has called on the Ulama to intensify the campaign for peace and good conduct of citizens in the state.
The Governor made the call when he received in audience, a renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa Kano in his office.
Governor Matawalle admitted that Zamfara State is being faced with a multitude of problems bordering on security which his administration is facing head-on, saying that there is need and the support of everyone to deal with dastardly activities. “It is here in Zamfara state that we arrested a person who feasts on human parts and also sells same to ritualists within and outside the state. We have so far arrested no fewer than 13 persons linked to this heinous business.”
