Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has dissolved the standing chairmen and members of boards, commissions and governing councils in Taraba State.
The commissions which were not affected include State Civil Service Commission, State Independent Electoral Commission, State Judicial Service Commission and State House of Assembly Service Commission.
Meanwhile, the nine man committee set up to review the financial activities of the boards, commissions and governing councils from 2019 to 2023 were charge with responsibility to ascertain the impact of the existing commissions to the state government. Other members of the committee are; Mrs. Fatima T. Yusuf, Mr. Obadiah T. Ipeyen, Mr. Livinus Jesse Ayih, Prof. Nicholas Nyemise, Mallam Kefas N. Saleh and Mr. Genesis Kwantar Permanent Secretary as Secretary of the committee.
“To determine the performance of the Boards, Commissions in terms of service delivery as it affects such Boards and Commissions in the interest of the state.
