Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has demanded a comprehensive audit report of the state-owned Ibom Power Company.
The governor gave the order during his familiarisation tour of the company in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of the state. Governor Eno described his tour of the company as revealing, saying that a lot has been unravelled about the operations of the power plant. “My visit here has been quite informative. I have uncovered a few things, and I am sure we are going to correct all of them because everyone has agreed to work together: the Ministry of Power and the Board and Management of Ibom Power.
