If there's one thing that's become common these days, it's leaks that appear ahead of a product's launch. One of them was the Google Pixel Fold we mentioned yesterday, which is Google's first attempt at a foldable device. Another one is the Google Pixel 7a.
Yesterday, details of the Google Pixel 7a were revealed in a YouTube video. At a glance, the design of the new model hasn't changed significantly. But the hands-on video did explain the subtle changes made. First, the screen now sits flush against the frame, instead of sitting above it like on the Pixel 6a. The volume buttons were also moved downwards, and there's an additional antenna band on the side now.
Next, let's check out the specs. The Pixel 7a sports the Google Tensor G2, the same custom chipset found in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The phone also has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 90Hz refresh rate for the AMOLED display, and a 4300mAh battery. As for the cameras, the two cameras at the back is believed to consist of a 64MP main camera and 13MP ultra-wide camera. There should also be a 13MP front camera for selfies.
