Google map: Police yet to act on my extortion says motorist September1st
A motorist, Adeshola Akangbe, who accused some policemen of extorting N45,000 from him for allegedly using Google map, says the Lagos State Police Command has not acted on his complaints.
Akangbe was arrested by the policemen around 8am on Tuesday, August 20, while he was held in traffic around Ojota area. He said, “When I complained about it on Twitter, someone gave me the contact of DSP Elkana whom I called and we agreed that I would meet him in his office the next day in the morning. Fortunately, it was my day off so I went there, but he wasn’t available.
