Defending champions, Enyimba of Aba, began their quest for another Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) crown on a losing note, yesterday, losing 0-2 to Gombe United in their week two game.

The Peoples Elephant, who have already been knocked out of the CAF Champions League, succumbed to goals from the boots of Ahmed Jimoh in the 43rd and 90th minutes.
