He also commended the 301 Field Artillery Regiment Gombe for its role in strengthening the state’s security initiative and ensuring peace and stability across the state.

“I wish to appreciate the Nigerian Army in general for upholding professionalism on duty, this government will continue to sustain partnership and maintain a cordial relationship with them in the task of combating crimes and criminalities,” Yahaya said.

The governor lauded the immediate past Commander, Col Ndah, for his services to Gombe State, and for contributing immensely to the maintenance of security during his period of service, and wished him success in his new assignment. On his part, the new Commander, 301 Artillery Regiment, Col Ahmed, urged for continued support and cooperation of the government and people of Gombe State to the Nigerian Army, being an integral part of the security architecture in the state to enable them to achieve success in their national assignment. He urged the people to work in synergy with the state government and sister- agencies towards maintaining peace, law, and order.

Ndah, thanked Governor Yahaya Bello, for his unwavering support to the 301 Artillery Regiment and the Nigerian Army as well as other security agencies; and in particular, for his commitment to the protection of lives and property of the citizenry.All rights reserved.
