The Gombe State Special Taskforce on COVID-19 has confirmed that a medical doctor serving at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe has tested positive for coronavirus.
Chairman of the taskforce, Professor Idris Mohammed, told a daily briefing of the taskforce that the doctor contracted the coronovirus while treating a patient with kidney ailment who was brought to the hospital from Borno state.
