Godwin Emefiele denies plotting against Bola Tinubu via xtrazine
The Central Bank of Nigeria has said that a story in a Nigerian newspaper on March 13, 2023, that said the Governor, Godwin Emefiele, had started a “fresh plot against the President-elect,” is not true.
In a statement signed by the Acting Director of Corporate Communications for the CBN, Isa Abdulmumin, it was said that the story also noted that the Governor had given a certain amount of money to a political candidate before the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election. “We wish to inform members of the public that this story is completely false and malicious as the Governor does not know and has never met or even spoken with Mr Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour in person or through proxy.If you enjoy this story, please do not forget to check out our other news stories:
