Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed that Victoria will lock down for seven days from 8pm on Thursday.
Health officials are concerned that the infected teacher at Al-Taqwa College and three new cases linked to her may have spawned cases in the several days they were infectious in the community. So no one in Victoria has to make that choice between feeding their family and doing the right thing by the rest of us.“
Mr Foley said health authorities expect more than 10,000 people to soon become primary close contacts of the new outbreak and be forced into isolation.
