Renowned global luxury fashion house, Montblanc, has stretched its imprint to the shores of Lagos, opening its first West African retail boutique in the Lekki axis of the state.

The fashion powerhouse has been expanding to African markets in the past few years, with its standalone boutiques in Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa and Morocco. The 115-year-old Maison aims at uplifting the luxury fashion scene in Africa. Its longstanding partner Polo Luxury also facilitated its entry into the country.

Sited on the Ground Level of the Palms Shopping Mall, in Lekki, the Boutique is designed with the Neo² design concept by acclaimed French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The design articulates Maison’s long-standing passion for craftsmanship and presents a pure and uncluttered appealing, mixing black, white and wood for a contemporary retail environment that engages and inspires.

“We are delighted to be opening our first standalone boutique in Nigeria and to be doing so with our longstanding partner in this key African city. “We have been pioneers in luxury on the continent, having introduced Montblanc here almost 30 years ago, and we have full confidence in our long-term future here,” Regional Managing Director, Montblanc Africa, Alain Dos Santos, commented.
