Bodex Media, a communications agency in Nigeria, will hold its 4th annual social media hangout on October 21.

Hungbo said the theme of the programme is “Social media: Hope or hubris”, and will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos. “Engaging discussions will also be held around the undeniable role of social media in deepening democracy, galvanizing national advancement and also propelling civic participation, particularly around the use of social media by politicians, their political acolytes and other electoral candidates to mobilize support, create awareness and drive engagement,” the statement reads.

Others are Mariam Bakre, an influencer; Melody Gabriel, singer; Dami Adenuga, a project and talent management expert; and Uzoamaka Orakwue, a lawyer and consultant; among others.
