Gbajabiamila’s appointment as Tinubu’s CoS speculative—Lawan
The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, on Thursday, in Abuja, described as speculative, news of the appointment of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff.
Speaking with State House Correspondents after a meeting with the President at the State House, Lawan said, “The Speaker of the House of Representatives has been rumoured to be Chief of Staff designate. You are speculating, you are in the media, I’m not. I am waiting for the announcement. First of all, I pray that comes to pass. If that happens, Mr President would have made a very wise decision.
“He has a very good network and the support that is required; when that happens, you know this administration is going to be administration of the legislators.
