Ganduje vs Abba-Yusuf: INEC speaks on Kano supplementary election
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured all political parties of fairness in Saturday’s supplementary elections.
INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner in Kano State, Prof. Risikuwa Shehu-Arabu, said this while speaking to newsmen at the state INEC headquarters in Kano on Friday.The Kano Rec said, “We have guidelines for the declaration of results until the provisions of the law are met the returning officer cannot make a return.
“The commission had received assurances for the provision of adequate Security from security agencies. “The commission is prepared for Saturday’s supplementary election in Kano and assured of fairness to all parties.”
