Some Northern stakeholders under the aegis of Northern Patriots, NP, have slammed the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, for allegedly witch-hunting his predecessor, Alhaji Umar Ganduje. The group alleged that the Kano governor lacks a clear blueprint or agenda for the people of the state.
Comrade Dominic Alancha, the national president of the group, made the claim during an interview on TVC's Journalists Hangout on Sunday.
reports that the Kano Government had vowed to prosecute Ganduje by filing criminal charges against him over alleged bribery of $413,000 and N1.38 billion respectively. However, according to Alancha, the governor is only witch-hunting his predecessor all in the name of a probe. He said Governor Yusuf is progressing in error, adding that his perceived case against Ganduje is dead on arrival as it is not within the jurisdiction of the state to probe him.
