The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party and former Kano State governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has dismissed threats by the immediate past governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje, to slap him.
Ganduje had shortly after he visited President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa on Friday evening told State House correspondents that he would have slapped Kwankwaso if they met at Aso Rock, Abuja. Kwankwaso had earlier visited the President.
In his response to the threat, Kwankwaso said Ganduje would never dare such, adding that the former governor is his “boy politically”. Kwankwaso also spoke on insinuations that he planned to work with Tinubu, saying, “We have discussed collaboration. However, a definitive decision is pending. After the inauguration of the National Assembly, we will determine the best course of action.”Addressing the demolition in Kano, Kwankwaso said the President was briefed and a mutual understanding was reached.
