Even though the days of lockdown are long gone, banana bread is still a popular treat to whip up in the kitchen as it's simple and doesn't require a lot of ingredients. Obviously, the main thing that gives the sweet bread its flavour is the mashed bananas that need to go into every loaf.
Thankfully, a woman on TikTok has revealed how you can speed up the process to just 20 minutes. The helpful hack, which was shared on social media by @wellnessbykay, has racked up over 1.4million views since it was posted with many people hailing it as a 'game-changer'. Kay takes a baking tray lined with parchment paper and places three unripe bananas on it, taking the tray away from the frame. When she returns, the bananas have fully blackened and look ideal for baking.
