The Super Eagles midfielder was impressive during his three years spell with the Scottish giants, scoring 26 goals and registering 25 assists in 149 appearances.After he got off to a bright start where he was handed regular playing time under former boss Ralph Hasenhuttl and featured in 15 matches, scoring two goals across all competitions, things turned sour for the midfielder when Nathan Jones was brought in as the manager following the sacking of Hasenhuttl in November.
Since the beginning of the year, the 26-year-old made just three appearances from the 21 league matches played.
