The management of Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, has appealed to the government to accelerate the rescue of the remaining twelve female students from captivity.
The institution's management also demanded from both the government and the security operatives to redouble their efforts to prevent further kidnapping in schools This was stated in Gusau, the State capital by the Dean of Students Affairs of the University, Dr. Lawal Saad during an interaction with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Student Engagement on Safe School Initiatives, Sunday Adebayo.
They gathered to brainstorm on how to secure schools to make them safer for students and staff. Adedayo assured that the Tinubu-led administration was committed to ensuring that the twelve remaining abducted female students of the Federal University in Gusau were rescued. He appealed to their parents and management of the Federal University to remain calm as the government was not sleeping over the issue.
