Governor Siminalayi Fubara has warned the police against restoring the disbanded Special Anti-robbery Squad in Rivers State.

Fubara raised the issue on Friday at the Government House during a meeting with the new Commissioner of Police, Nwoyi Polycarp Emeka. “The importance of security is a collective responsibility of all stakeholders. We urge you to get to the bottom of complaints from citizens,” he said. The governor further charged the CP to be firm, forthright and tackle crimes and criminality with his wealth of experience.
