Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has denounced a purported list circulating in the media, claiming to be the state’s Peoples Democratic Party Caretaker Committee members, labelling it as fake and mischief-makers’ work.
He said the alleged list was fabricated by individuals seeking cheap publicity and those aiming to sow seeds of discord, adding that their efforts would fail. Furthermore, Fubara announced plans for a PDP NEC meeting on April 18 to formalise the decision. He urged party members to disregard the fake list and assured that no changes were imminent.
“This extension is not meant to bring in new names; the extension also did not say that you are working without the authority of the governor.
