The Federal Road Safety Corps, Kaduna State Sector Command, said it recovered 28 stolen cars, adding that it returned them to their owners in the state.

He said that FRSC would begin enforcement of the vehicles proof of ownership to ensure that drivers are original owners of their vehicles. Motorists should ensure proper registration of their vehicles once the National Vehicle Identification Scheme commences, he added. Mato said that the rate of road traffic crashes had decreased in the state, adding that about 300 people died in crashes from January to date, which was a decrease if compared to previous years.
