FRSC deploys 677 personnel in Imo to promote safe driving ⚠️

The Acting Corps Marshal of the corps, Mr Dauda Biu, said this at the inauguration of the 2022 “ember months” campaign in Owerri on Tuesday.Biu, represented by the Zonal Commanding Officer, RS9HQ, Mr Ocheja Ameh, said that the campaign was meant to educate road users against poor attitudes to road traffic rules.

He said that the organisation had identified all the flash points in the state and deployed enough manpower to ensure the free flow of traffic and an accident-free Yuletide. He said: “The theme for this year’s campaign is a call for all commuters and other road users to embrace the culture of safe road use as they travel daily.“I commend FRSC for bringing the issue of road safety to the front burner of public discourse,’’ the governor said.
