No fewer than four people have died in a road accident along the Ibadan-Oyo Expressway, DAILY POST reports.

The bus they were travelling in, a Toyota Hummer bus with registration number JJJ 841 XA, somersaulted, leaving the passengers dead and 13 others injured.Atiba Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp , Bayode Olugbesan, confirmed the accident to journalists on Saturday.He said 20 people were involved in the accident but only four were confirmed dead at the State Hospital, Oyo, and had been taken to a mortuary.

“All the victims are male and their destination is North, the cause of the crash was over speeding and overloading. The bus was supposed to carry 14 passenger but was loaded with 20 passengers,” he said. FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Mr. Joshua Adekanye, also confirmed the accident to DAILY POST on Saturday.He said, “Yes. I am aware of the incident. I want to add that the people should avoid over speeding”.
