Four dead as vehicle plunges into river in Ogun

Four persons have been confirmed dead when a vehicle plunged into Ososa River, along Ijebu-Ode road, Ogun State, on Tuesday.

DAILY POST reports that the incident happened around 10:20 am on the second Ososa bridge, inbound Ijebu-Ode.The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.The accident claimed the lives of three men and one woman out of the six passengers in the vehicle.5 men allegedly rape 10-year-old girl in Kaduna

Speaking further, Akinbiyi revealed that, “The Opel commercial car was coming from Ijebu-Ode inbound Sagamu when the accident happened. “An eyewitness account also confirmed that Opel car was on top speed when it suddenly lost control and plunged into the Ososa River before Ijebu-Ode. “In all, six occupants were in the vehicle including the driver, which is against the COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.”
