Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has met with River State Governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Atiku, who arrived on Tuesday evening, was said to have met with the governor behind closed doors at his residence in Ada George. Reason for the meeting was not public but it is believed to be connected to the 2023 general elections. The former Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in 2019 reportedly fell out with Governor Wike after the National Convention of the party in Port Harcourt.
