KUALA LUMPUR: Former SRC International Sdn Bhd director Datuk Suboh Md Yassin did not ask the reason he was asked to leave the country, the High Court heard Monday (July 8).
Under cross-examination from Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, counsel to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Suboh said he left the country after being asked to do so by former SRC International chief executive officer Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil, but did not ask the reason he was asked to go.
Shafee, however, explained that the exhibits - which were slides of documents - were taken by the defence to make copies.
