Former President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the administrator of the presidential amnesty programme (PAP) to focus on education scholarship and women empowerment in the Niger Delta region. Jonathan emphasized the importance of exposing more people to the impact of the federal government's efforts in the region.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has asked Denis Otuaro, administrator of the presidential amnesty programme , to prioritise education scholarship and women empowerment in the Niger Delta region.

Jonathan spoke on Friday when he hosted Otuaro, who was on a consultative visit in his Abuja residence. The former president urged the PAP administrator to ensure that the programme exposes more people in the region to the impact of the federal government efforts.Otuaro expressed gratitude for the opportunity to consult with the former president.Otuaro reaffirmed the commitment of the PAP under his leadership to adhere to the mandate of promoting peace and development in the Niger Delta.
