Former Ogun State Chief judge dies at 85

Former Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Isaac Babatunde Delano died last week at the age 85 years.

Justice Delano had his early education at Abeokuta Grammar School and from there proceeded to the University of London. He was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn, England in 1961 and admitted to practise in Nigeria on June16, 1961. Justice Delano started his civil service career as a pupil state counsel in the western region of Nigeria in June 1961 and rose through the ranks to become Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Ministry of Justice in 1976.
