earlier reported that Onu, a former governor of Abia State, died on Thursday in Abuja after battling with an undisclosed ailment. Reacting in a condolence message he personally signed, Kalu described the politician as a nationalist who has passion for unity and progress of Nigeria. Kalu acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the former minister to nation building.
