Former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Delta State University, Professor Mrs Rose Aziza has decried rising incidents of ritual killing of young girls by their male friends styled Yahoo boys in Delta state.

Speaking in Okpara inland, Ethiope East local government area, at a symposium tagged, The contribution of the Urhobo woman in the emergence of modern Urhobo nation “, organized by Urhobo Historical Society for late Dr Regina Otite, wife of eminent Professor of Sociology, Onigu Otite , Professor Aziza said the ritual killings in Urhobo communities had become something to worry about.

She enjoined Urhobo leaders to evolve measures to tackle the problem, adding that they should also revisit the inheritance question as it concerns women in some Urhobo communities.
