The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the measures put in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

The IHRC, in a statement, said the Minister expressed gratitude for the award given to him by the IHRC and noted that the honour goes to President Buhari, who provided the necessary response and sufficient will to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria. He noted that the world today respects Nigeria especially the way it handled the interest of her citizens during this period of COVID-19.
