The incident occurred next to the Hasty Tasty Pizza stand in Long Row near Primark
A man was kicked repeatedly in a city centre brawl, a video filmed by a passer-by shows. The footage, provided anonymously to Nottinghamshire Live in two parts, shows a sizeable disturbance in Long Row, near Primark and The Exchange at 10.46pm on Saturday, April 13.
The passer-by said: "I thought it was totally unfair. I was not sure the cause of the problem. It's not acceptable behaviour. There were too many against one person on the ground."An argument between the two parties had started in the Joseph Else Wetherspoon pub, the witness said. It had spilled out across Market Square and ended up on Long Row.
He says there were two men, who appeared to be homeless, on one side of the argument and a group of around a dozen on the other side. The witness followed the crowd, hoping he could "help or do something," and began filming as evidence of what was happening. Two walk away, with one covering his face and another punching his palm. Another retreats before returning to deliver another full-pelt kick to the man's upper body area.
