FOMWAN holds ‘self-sustenance’ training
The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria Lagos State chapter has trained members on how to be self-sustained.ADVERTISEMENT
The materials were distributed to their Makoko to host community and other areas in the state where FOMWAN operates. She said: “The week is usually marked with all sorts of activities ranging from community development, humanitarian activities, lectures, seminars, and symposia. “We were able to make soaps, hand sanitizer, nose masks and we distributed them to the local government for the less privileged.”FOMWAN National Chairperson, Community Development and Humanitarian Services, Alhaja Khairat Sodique, said the humanitarian gesture was meant to empower FOMWAN members while assisting our host communities.
