The hackers overnight released what is believed to be the largest and final file of private and sensitive information stolen from Medibank customers before stating the 'case' is 'closed'.
The criminals posted onto a dark web forum overnight to reveal another"folder full" had been dumped and declared the"case" was now"closed".
The data will begin circulating on the dark web and put their clients at risk of being preyed upon by scammers looking to take advantage over the holiday period. Hackers in November said it had the names, addresses, date of birth, phone numbers, email addresses and gender of about 9.7 million current and former customers.
