Food processing company, Flour Mills of Nigeria, says it recently donated a solar-powered clean water plant to the Gbaji-Yeke Community, Badagry, Lagos State.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Group Human Resources and Services Director, Wale Adediran, expressed optimism that the project would positively impact the Gbaji-Yeke Community.
He said, “We are proud to partner with the Lagos State Government through the ‘One Community At A Time’ project to deliver this solar-powered clean water plant. “This initiative exemplifies our commitment to community development, sustainable practices, and positively impacting the lives of Nigerians. Access to clean water is a basic human right, and we are delighted to play a role in ensuring its availability to the residents of Gbaji-Yeke.”
The Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Mrs Folashade Jaji, said, “The commissioning of this solar-powered clean water plant marks a significant milestone in the OCAAT initiative, delivering critical infrastructure for Lagos State communities. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, and this project ensures Gbaji-Yeke residents can access this vital resource.”All rights reserved.
