Abbas Ahmad Dansoja, 30, has reportedly drowned in the early hours flood disaster that recurred in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, on Thursday.
Dansoja, a resident of Anguwan Malam Joda, in Jalingo metropolis, was said to have been swept away by the flood while attempting to remove a table blocking the free flow of water through a nearby culvert.A member of the search party, who spoke with our correspondent, said “we have being search for his corpse for the past two hours to no avail. ”
Dansoja’s bid to avert a major disaster in the community, one of his relatives said, led to his death.
