An early morning fire has razed down some parts of a popular foodstuffs market, known as singer in Kano State.
An eyewitness told the DAILY POST that the fire started late in the night and continue to destroy shops and warehouses, on Monday. He said the fire could not be quenched until Monday morning with combined efforts of the fire service and other security agencies.The state Police Command Spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident.
