Explosions caused by fire have rocked an oil field controlled by Eroton Exploration and Production Limited in Rivers State's Akuku Toru Local Government Area. The National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) announced this on Tuesday, adding that it had received a report of a fire at two Eroton Exploration and Production Limited oil wells (EEPL). Idris Musa, Director-General of NOSDRA, stated that the twin accidents occurred on Monday at Akaso Wells 14 and 4T Wellheads.
