Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on Saturday flagged off construction of a flyover at the Adamawa State capital, Yola. The project, billed to cost the state N9.26 billion n, is the third in the state, all thre
e in Yola, with the first in 2021 and second in 2022. Speaking at the site of the latest project at the famous Mubi Road Roundabout in Jimeta, Fintiri said the flyover is a fulfilment of one of his cardinal campaign promises towards the 2023 general election.
Reply critics who habe called for mkre beneficial projects, he said urban renewal is one of the cardinal goals of his administration as encapsulated in his 8-point agenda. He disclosed that the contract for the project was awarded at the total contract sum of ₦9,264,498,755.33K. 'It is awarded as Lot 1 with a completion period of 18 months. The contract is awarded to Messrs Triacta Nigeria Limited,” he said.
