The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the approval followed the selection of Dansanda by the kingmakers of the chiefdom, following the death of his predecessor, Late Wilfred Kimde, who passed away last month.

The approval for the appointment of the new chief is contained in a statement issued by Mr Solomon Kumangar, the Director General, Media and Communication to the governor. Aged 44, until his appointment, Dansanda was a Senior Executive Officer with the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.
