The former Ajax of Holland and Calabar Rovers star said the NPFL has potential to become one of the top leagues in Africa if well-organised. “Nigerian coaches that are not engaged in any assignment abroad need to come home and handle teams in the local league because their contributions will help increase the NPFL’s standard,” he said.
He said: “With this achievement, Enyimba will work harder to ensure we do not disappoint Nigerians when the CAF Champions League begins.”
